How To Show Up As Your Authentic Self In Any Situation

Kiana Ng

Showing up as your authentic self can be difficult. Especially because you were taught that who you are isn’t good enough, but I’m here to tell you that you are.

Society has a knack for teaching us that who we are isn’t good enough.

Society says:

“If you’re like this, you’re enough.”

“If you’re perfect, you’ll fit in.”

“Once you meet our guidelines, you’ll be happy.”

When, in reality, striving to be anything but yourself is draining and moves you in the opposite direction of happiness.

So how do you show up as your authentic self in any situation?

  1. Drop the self-judgement. Sure there might be others judging you, but more than half the time, it’s your own self-judgement over how you think you should be that blocks your light from shining. When you drop your own self-judgement, you can learn to replace it with self-love and self-acceptance.
  2. Remember that you’re your only barrier. The only person that’s stopping you from showing up as your authentic self, is yourself. Others may create challenge for you, but they don’t have the power to stop you from showing up in your truth.
  3. Always choose YES to showing up as your authentic self. In every moment, you have a choice: to show up as your authentic self, or not. Choose the former every time.
  4. Remember your self-worth. Here’s the truth: you’re enough. You were made the way you were because you have something uniquely great to offer this world. If you choose to dim it, you’re missing out on yourself.
  5. Love yourself more. Repeat to yourself, “I love you.” Every. Damn. Day. And especially in the moments when you’re feeling insecure, anxious, or fearful.

I hope that these tips will help you find the confidence to show up as your authentic self. It’s been a journey for me to practice these tips, and I hope that they give you the strength to shine your light fully.

3 Techniques to Ignite Your Power & Step Into Your Light

Stand Your Ground and Take No Shit

Stand Your Ground and Take No Shit

Stand Your Ground and Take No Shit

Kiana Ng

As women, it’s harder for us to stand our ground and take no shit.

Why is this harder for women?

Because, ancestrally, women were taught that they should be quiet, kind, and always giving. Women were taught that men have the power and that their voices don’t matter.

NEWSFLASH! It’s 2019 and women are speaking up like never before.

Women are learning that their voices matter and that it’s ok for them to stand their ground and take no shit when they need to. Women are coming back into their power.

Have you struggled with being able to stand your ground?

Here are a few reminders for you to remember when you need to stand up for yourself:

  1. Remember that your ancestors were taught that you aren’t allowed to speak up or stand up. This pattern has be brought down through generations, but you have the power to change this pattern any time.
  2. Your voice matters.
  3. Know your worth.
  4. You know your boundaries. Choose to honour them.
  5. Drop the guilt. Drop the shame.

Transform Your Wants Into Action

Transform Your Wants Into Action

Transform Your Wants Into Action

Kiana Ng

It’s one thing to have a desire, or a want. And it’s another thing to actually put in the work to transform your wants into action.

Manifesting your wants & desires requires some action on your part.

Here are a few steps you can take right now to transform your wants into action:

  1. Write out what it is that you want & get as specific as you can. What will it look like when it’s complete? How will you feel? Is there anyone involved? Where?
  2. What’s required to make this desire happen? Do you have all of the resources you need? If not, can you get the resources needed?
  3. Set a deadline for yourself. When would you like to see your desire manifest?
  4. Write out the steps that need to happen in order for you to achieve this desire.
  5. Schedule out these steps accordingly. What action steps can you take this week, this month, this year to work towards your desire?
  6. Get out there and take action!

When you decide to take action on your desires and get out there to do something about it, you’re already a lot more likely to attract it into your life because you’ve made a decisive decision about what you want. And when you have clarity on what you want, the law of attraction can bring it to you a lot more quickly.

The Power of Choice

The Power of Choice

The Power of Choice

Kiana Ng

Here’s the one thing that we never lose control over: our power of choice.

The most common form of powerlessness that I see, and have experienced personally, is forgetting the power of choice.

In every moment, we have the power to choose; how we react and respond, between yes and no, which direction we take, what food we eat, between fear and love, kindness vs. harm… I could go on.

We seem to have forgotten that we have the power of choice, no matter our circumstances. There’s a tendency to place so much weight on our external circumstances dictating how we live our lives and how we feel while doing it.

I’ve been in that place of victim-filled energy.

I’ve been in that place of allowing others to dictate how I feel.

I’ve been in that place of looking out for answers rather than looking in.

Depending on the situation, our power of choice can carry more weight and create more effect, but even if there’s nothing that you can do about your external circumstances, you have the power to choose how you feel about them and how you live your life while experiencing them.

Where in your life can you reclaim your power & take back control of how you’re living your life?

3 Techniques to Ignite Your Inner Power

How To Break Through Fear & Live The Life Of Your Dreams

How To Break Through Fear & Live The Life Of Your Dreams

How To Break Through Fear & Live The Life Of Your Dreams

Kiana Ng

Fear is paralyzing. Fear has the power to stop you from living the life of your dreams.

Fear has the power to stop you dead in your tracks.

When it comes to legitimate safety, this is a good thing. But when it comes to illegitimate safety, this is a limiting thing.

Let me explain what I mean when I say legitimate vs. illegitimate safety.

Legitimate safety refers to when your physical life is in danger and your instincts are kicking in to tell you so.

Illegitimate safety refers to when your fight or flight response turns on when you’re about to step outside of your safety net into a psychologically uncomfortable place. This could be caused from quitting your financially safe 9-5 job to chase after your dreams when there’s a really good chance that they could fail. This could be caused from jumping into a relationship amongst a whole lot of fear, for example.

For many, the fear that comes up in response to illegitimate safety is enough to hold us back from ever taking that leap.

So how do you move passed this fear to live the life of your dreams?

Try this:

  1. Make a list of all of your fears that are stopping you from making that leap.
  2. Label them 1-10 based on how fearful they are for you (10 is highest).
  3. Write out the worst case scenario that could happen by taking this leap.
  4. How would you handle this scenario if it did happen? What would happen if you didn’t know the “how”?
  5. Recognize that even amongst fear & uncertainty, you have the power to control your response to any outcome. Trust that the universe has your back and will always sort things out.
  6. If you weren’t afraid, what would you do? How would things be different?
  7. What’s the first step you need to take to go out and do the thing you’re scared of doing?
  8. Get out there & do it!

Fear is a difficult emotion. If you’re finding that you need more help & guidance on how to move forwards to create a life or relationship of your dreams, book a FREE discovery call with me here.
