Alignment Principles
- Start seated
- Lift right leg up into baby cradle
- Lift right knee up over the right shoulder
- Squeeze upper arm/shoulder with right leg, release hands to on either side of left thigh Chaturanga distance apart
- Pick up left leg and cross the ankle over the right ankleÂ
- Exhale to press the palms down, lean forwards, and pick up hips off mat
- Straighten the legs and squeeze upper arm with inner thighs
- Bend elbows to Chaturanga
- Keep both shoulders level

- Pigeon Prep.
- Lizard Pose (Utthan Pristhasana)
- 4-Limbed Staff Pose (Chaturanga Dandasana)
- Supine Twists
- Boat Pose (Navasana)
Modifications/Variations:
- Place hands on blocks
- ADVANCED: Have the forearm down on the non-supporting arm instead of hand
