Alignment Principles
- Start in Side Lying Split, laying on the right side
- Lift left leg and hook the knee/leg behind the left shoulder
- Extend the left leg straight and place the foot in right hand (use your left hand to assist with this)
- Bend right knee
- Reach down with left hand to grab right foot on the inside of the leg
- Continue to point right knee downstairs to keep straight line
- Press hips forwards to avoid rolling onto back

- Compass Pose (Parivrtta Surya Yantrasana)
- Supine Hand to Toe Pose A & B (Supta Padangusthasana A & B)
- Lizard Pose (Utthan Pristhasana)
- Hanumansana (Splits)
- Revolved Seated Wide Legged Forward Fold (Parivrrta Upavistha Konasana)
Modifications/Variations:
- Hold standing ankle
- Use a strap around lifted foot
