Alignment Principles
- Start in Uttanasana
- Lift your right leg behind you
- Exhale to fold your chest into the left leg as you raise the right leg as high as you can without opening the hips
Prep. Poses:
- Pyramid Pose (Parsvottanasana)
- Splits (Hanumanasana)
- Warrior 3 (Virabhadrasana 3)
- Crescent Lunge
Modifications/Variations:
- Hold standing ankle
- Hold lifted ankle
- Split press to handstand
